Dr. Venkateswaran is a board certified pediatric dentist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She received her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Virginia (Go Hoos!) and went on to dental school at Columbia University, where she graduated in the top 1% of her class.

She pursued her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital, and also did a unique fellowship in special needs dentistry at Helen Hayes Hospital. In addition to treating patients in private practice, Dr. Venkateswaran is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dental Medicine at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, and has also served as an adjunct faculty member of NYU College of Dentistry.

She loves her profession and passionately believes that oral wellness is fundamental to overall wellness. Dr. Venkateswaran places high value on prevention and patient education so that good dental health and good dental habits can be fostered at an early age. She is extremely gentle and friendly by nature and believes that visits to the dentists can be a positive experience, both for the parents and children.

Dr. Venkateswaran is married, and has three young boys. She loves traveling, baking, running, and is an avid student of dance and vocal music. She looks forward to meeting you and helping take care of your little one’s smile!
